MDS Winter Series Feb 10, 2019

The horrible weather we have been dealing with in VA has everyone discouraged and depressed. Spring show season is right around the corner, and unless you are blessed to have an indoor, its not looking promising to come out feeling 100% ready in March. I needed to rally my troops and get some motivation back in the team, so off we went to the Mitchell Dressage Winter Series Schooling Show at Vintage Valley Sporthorses in Catlett, VA. It was a bitterly cold day, but it was just what we all needed to regroup and stay focused on better days (and weather) ahead. The main goal of the day was experience for horse and rider. Everyone had some great rides, and found plenty of things to work towards as time in the saddle is more available. Overall, we had a fun day with friends, horses, and family. I am so thankful for my wonderful group of students and friends, and the horses we are blessed to call partners.
